Mike for Model Number CAV2004AWW I have a Magic Chef washer that I need to replace the timer on. that part# is 21001522. I can't seem to figure out how to get the timer knob off the timer so I can remove it. I talked to a guy at the local store and he said it should unscrew counter clockwise. That does not seem to work. The whole shaft spins all the way through the timer. So that obviously does not work. I have tried pulling on it also with no luck. Can you provide some more direction on how to get the knob off the timer shaft?
