Pogi for Model Number MAV408DAWW My washer wash and drain water before the rinse cycle, but do not drain in the final spin and only turn slowly. If you stop it and turn it on in the spin cycle it will start draining. Why do I need to stop it first before it drains. I tried it several times and the result are the same. It won't drain on the spin cycle but every time you stop and start in the spin cycle it will start working. If its draining on different cycle, so it means the pump is good right? or no? could it be a bad timer also? Thanks
Answer Pogi, With the unit draining during between main wash and rinse then the pump would not be bad. This issue would sound like it would be caused by the thrust bearing sticking and not allowing the unit to spin properly. The part number for the thrust bearing is 12002213. Read More...
