Leonard for Model Number Maytag Neptune MLE2000AYW (stacked) Washer (MHW2000AWW) cycles properly through all wash and rinse cycles but fails to stop after the final rinse. After the water has drained after the 3rd or 4th (extra) final rinse, the washer continues to "agitate" as if it is still in a washing cycle. The washer must be stopped by depressing the "Washer Start/Stop" button & waiting for the "Door Locked" lamp to go out. This "non-stopping" behavior occurs in every wash mode (Regular, Delicate, Permanent Press). In your estimation, does this call for the replacement of the Electronic Control Board (Timer) #22002452? Thank you in advance for your advice.
Answer Leonard, Yes, based on the information provided it does sound like the issue would be caused by a control board that is faulty and would need to be replaced. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, April 22, 2015
