Dav for Model Number MAV6200AWW I have the Maytag Atlantis, on the permanent press (colors cycle) the washer washes the clothes, spins and removes the wash water, but doesn't advance to the rinse cycle. I can physically turn the dial to the rinse cycle and then it works. All the other cycles work properly except the mainly used permanent press cycle. Do I need the timer, part # 2203371? Thank you Dave.
Answer Dav, Yes, based on the post description and information, you'll want to replace the timer WP22003371 / 22003371. The internal cam wheel is cracked or damaged and causes the timer to deactivate in the rinse cycle. Replace the timer and you should be fine. Read More...
