Bruce for Model Number DE312 Hi again, I installed the new cycling thermostat you sent with the 3 wire connection and this also did not fix the problem of the timer not running when on an auto dry setting between the "more dry" and "less dry" settings on the dial. It runs after you physically move it to the less dry setting and then shuts off. I have tried a new timer, new cycling thermostat, checked the wiring to see that nothing is pulled off or broken, looked for a moisture sensor inside the drum but found none. Is there something somewhere else I should be looking at?
Answer Hello Bruce. You will need to remove the vent from the back of the dryer and run it with the vent unhooked. If it works properly, then there is an air flow problem. Hope this helps. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, May 23, 2011
