Bruce for Model Number Maytag DE312 We have Maytag model DE312 dryer and the timer you set when drying cloths never seems to move anymore. You look at the dryer 1 hr after you start it and the dial is still where you originally set it. Doesn't seem to start "clicking" until you move it past the "Less Dry" setting. Is this the timer or something else?
Answer Hello Bruce. If the timer does not move on the timed dry, then yes, you will need to replace the timer WP305973. If it works on timed dry, but not on auto dry, you will need to check the vent and make sure it is not clogged. Hope this helps. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, May 10, 2011
