Hello Bill. No, there is no diagram. You will pull the knob off the front of the timer. Then remove the screws out of the back of the control panel and remove the back panel. Once removed, you will remove the screws holding the timer in place and remove the timer. Unplug the wires from the old timer and install the wires on the correct terminals on the new timer WP31001731. Reinstall in reverse order. Hope this helps.
