J I have a similar problem....timer doesnt move from the posistion it started at and the dryer turns but i get no heat...in reference to the above suggestion to try "timed dry" i am gonna try that right now...if it works in that mode what does that mean and if it continues to have the same problem what does that mean? I appreciate ANY help on this..thank you much, jay.
Answer If the timer will turn during timed dry and shut off, but will not in automatic dry, then you have a heating problem causing the sensor in auto dry to hold the timer.
