John Went to Sears website and it has 2 different timers listed for my dryer. I have a Maytag Atlantis, mod # MDE7400AYW serial # 19715902CR. Timer does not advance in the timed dry section or any other sections as well. Any idea what timer I need? Also, I was told by someone that I might need a new wiring harness.Is that a waste of time or do you have any suggestions. Finally, any idea why it is such a covert operation to try and figure out which timer I actually need or why there are so many different numpers on the Maytag timers? What a joke. The original timer says 3720660, I think this is the part number but I am not sure.
