Jeff S. for Model Number MDE6400AYW Watched your timer replacement video and this is the exact timer in our Maytag dryer. I'm considering changing the timer because ours allows us to pull the knob to start the dryer, but the indicator doesn't advance on any of the modes, and the dryer never shuts off. Clothing dries fine in expected amount of time, but we have to manually shut the dryer off. Is the way the dryer is behaving an indication the timer is faulty and needs replacing? Thanks.
Answer Jeff, Yes this issue sounds like it would be caused by a faulty timer for the unit. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, January 16, 2017
