Sharon for Model Number MDG7400AWW I have a Maytag MDG7400AWW serial number 12532994AT. Trying to figure out which timer it uses. I think it should be AP4042974. How can I tell which one I should pick. Is it based on the serial number?
Answer Hello Sharon, The timer you will need to order is (AP4042974). This is determined by the serial number. As per Whirlpool, this timer will not work on any 8400 models. All 8400 models serial number 16 or higher use 33002808. Timer has 15 terminals across the bottom, (# of terminals used depends on model). Read More...
