Andrew for Model Number MDE6400AYW Just installed one of these in my dryer- serial# 19499297CE. It turns the dryer on and off, but does not automatically stop, even in timed mode. Also, when I open the door, the dryer does not stop automatically. Is the timer defective, do I need to move a contact on the plug, I called Whirlpool and they verified that timer 33002855 is the correct item.
