Russ for Model Number MDE6400AYW and Serial # 19510255CJ Hi, I purchased AP4042974 for my Maytag MDE6400AYW and Serial # 19510255CJ dryer. Everything works on the dryer (heats up, turns, etc) except for two things: 1) When you open the dryer door it does not stop running and 2) On the auto moisture sensing it never stops or turns off, and 3) Likewise the timer mode is not functional (i.e. dryer runs but timer doesn't function). Did I order the wrong Timer? Should I have ordered: AP4043083 ? And if so, how do I go about returning this one and getting the correct one. Thanks in advance! Russ
