Mike M. for Model Number MDE6400AYW Hello. My dryer will no longer turn on. It has been tough recently and now pulling the start does nothing at all. Sounds like I need a timer but don't know which one. Maytag Atlantis, model MDE6400AYW, serial number 24311839EG. Please let me know which timer I need so I can order ASAP. Thanks.
Answer Hello Mike. You need to test the thermal fuse WP33001762 and the door switch and see if they are bad and causing the issue with the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
