Pokey Joe for Model Number LA5580XSW2 I have managed to unscrew the timer knob but I don't know what to do next to remove the old timer. Since there is no repair video, is there a repair step by step or somesuch? Thanks.
Answer Pokey Joe, with the power cord unplugged, there will be a screw at each of the bottom corners of the endcaps that would need to be removed. This will allow the front panel of the console to pull forward and lift up once the timer screws are removed. With it released from the locked position, there will be two screws where the timer knob would mount that would need to be removed so that the timer can be pulled out with the console panel lifted up. The wire harness would be switched to the new timer and the timer mounted into position. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Sunday, March 20, 2022
