Scott for Model Number LA555OXTWO My wash does not start. I have checked the lid switch with an ohm meter and the capacitor with a meter for capacitors, both ok. The wiring diagram is pasted on the inside of the rear panel thus I can only read a portion of it. My thought was to check the timer next yet I'm not sure. Thank you
Answer Hi Scott. See if you do have 120 vac at the cord itself as it enters the control panel back. Make sure the terminals have not burned out on the ends. Follow the power to positive hot lead (not the ribbed cord-neutral-) and see if it has 120 vac between it at the timer and ground. If it does, then does the timer motor itself have 120 vac to its leads as the timer is pulled out in a normal cycle. Can you physically see the timer rotor spinning through the back of the timer motor back ? If so and the timer does not pass the voltage then suspect the timer to be a issue. Timer part # WP3946430.
