Ajh for Model Number LNC7764A71 Dryer won't start, no running at all, door switch seems ok and the thermal fuse over the heating coil in the back is closed. What suggestions to troubleshoot the issue do you have?
Answer AJ, Are you sure there's proper voltage at the wall outlet and terminal block on the back of the dryer? Check for a "closed circuit between the L and M terminals on the timer, with a selection made, then check from the M to S terminals when the timer dial is pressed, there should be a " momentary" circuit when the dial is pressed and should open when the dial is released. If all's OK check the wiring between the door switch and motor and the timer and the motor for loose connections or broken wires. Read More...
