Bruce for Model Number KitchenAid Dishwasher KUDC10XWH6, about 10 years old Machine worked fine yesterday. Today, won't start. No lights on indicator panel light up. Circuit breaker in house is OK. Might this be a thermal fuse or switch issue in machine? Seems to be an electrical issue rather than some operating part like motor, pump, or other big item. Thank you.
Answer Bruce, the main control would need to be tested for 120VAC at the incoming black wire from the wire junction box. If there is not 120VAC, the wire connections would need to be inspected for any loose fittings. If there is voltage, the next step would be to test for a DC voltage signal by placing the red probe of a meter on pin 1 and the black probe on pin 3. There should be a 13VDC reading. If not, then the main control W11035586 has failed. If there is, then the user interface WPW10481128 has failed. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, May 22, 2020
