Carl M for Model Number W6D9400SU I am replacing the idler pulley and belt on this Whirlpool Duet Dryer. When I took off the lint duct cover, there was a large buildup of lint around the blower wheel. In cleaning off this lint, a felt seal (this is not the blower cover plate seal which is intact and in place) also came off. Is this felt seal supposed to be attached (glued ?) to the blower wheel? It came off very easily and there is no obvious groove that this fits in. Should I try to glue this felt to the blower wheel? With what?
Answer Hello Carl. The seal WP697770 is held on with double sided tape. It may be best to replace the seal on the unit. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, September 25, 2014
