Crystel for Model Number med9700sq0 how do i get the squirrel cage off the shaft .it is broke and dont know how to get it off .
Answer Crystel, The squirrel cage / blower wheel WP697772 actually screws onto the motor shaft.Here's some help " Reach around to the back of the drive motor and attach a 7/16 inch open-end wrench over the flat of the motor shaft, and a ratchet with a 1/2 inch drive on the blower wheel hub. Turn the blower wheel clockwise (shown by the “REMOVE” arrow that is embossed on the front of the wheel ) and remove the wheel from the motor shaft." Thanks Read More...
