Tom for Model Number WED6600VW0 My Whirlpool Cabrio Steam Dryer (model WED6600VW0) has airflow problems. I have cleaned the dryer vent, replaced the hose connecting the dryer vent to the house vent, and cleaned the house vent with a vent brush. Taking off the vent hose, I felt hot air coming out, but at a very low rate, and there was also condensated water in the vent. Taking apart the dryer, the blower housing foam seal is breaking apart, but the blower wheel seems OK - turning it also makes the drum turn. I want to replace the foam seal for sure, but should I replace the blower wheel as well? I'm not sure what else can be causing bad airflow - the dryer is heating, but it is very humid inside while drying. Is there anything else that can be causing this? Thanks!
Answer Tom, You will want to pull the duct venting where the lint filter is and make sure that it does not have heavy lint build up in there as it sounds like it may clogged. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, September 11, 2017
