Ariens Lawn Mower Deflector & Chute

The shield deflector is designed to ensure that the debris that expels from the mower deck is not projected upward or toward the person that is mowing. When it is cracked or missing, the clippings and debris could fly out in any direction and cause injury or damage. The shield deflector is made of durable plastic but it is also subject to constant vibrations and ground impact, which can lead to damage. Replacing a broken shield deflector will ensure that the mower is safe to use and that debris is not flying in all directions. This part will require a wrench or socket, as there are two screws or bolts holding it in place. This genuine OEM deflector is manufactured by Husqvarna and can be used with select machines from the brand, as well as certain models from Craftsman, Poulan, and Jonsered.
