This genuine replacement part is an oven control board. The control board is the main computer that controls the essential functions of the oven such as maintaining temperature, turning on, as well as adjusting the settings. If the oven isn't turning on or no longer heating properly, it might mean that it's time to replace the control board. Luckily this is a relatively simple repair.Start by making sure the power supply to the oven is off. After that, proceed to remove the upper back panel of the range. Locate the old control board and pop it out of the mounting brackets holding it in place. Once removed take note of the orientation of the wires. Remove the wire harness and all individual wires attached to the old board. Insert the wires in the correct order on the new board. Snap the board back into its mounting brackets and reinstall the upper back panel. This OEM replacement part is compatible with Frigidaire, Electrolux, Gibson, Kelvinator, and Westinghouse brand ovens.
