Bake Element (Lower Oven Heating Element)

This is a replacement lower oven bake element that restores the heating surface used for baking and roasting. It installs in the oven cavity to produce the consistent radiant heat needed for proper cooking results. What it does:

  • Heats the oven floor area to provide the primary baking and roasting heat.
  • Helps maintain oven temperature so food cooks evenly.
  • Commonly replaced when the oven does not heat or reaches lower-than-set temperatures.
  • Replace if the element is visibly broken, burnt, or shows exposed wires.
What's included: One bake (lower oven) element. Install notes:
  • Disconnect power to the appliance at the breaker or unplug before starting.
  • Handle the element carefully to avoid bending or damaging the terminals or insulation.
  • Secure mounting screws as required.
  • After installation, restore power and test oven heat; if oven still fails to heat, further electrical diagnosis may be needed.
