This body-side spacer installs on the cabinet side of the door or lid hardware. It sets the correct stand-off and alignment so the handle or latch feels solid and sits flush for a clean, secure fit. What it does:

• Maintains proper spacing to help prevent rubbing or scuffing of the panel

• Disconnect power to the appliance before servicing
• Support the handle/latch, remove the cabinet-side mounting screws, place the spacer, realign hardware, and reinstall screws snugly
• Reuse the original fasteners; avoid overtightening to prevent cracking the spacer or stripping threads
• Check door operation and alignment before finishing
