The dryer hi-limit thermostat is a safety device that prevents overheating by shutting off the heating element when temperatures get too high, located on the blower housing or heat source. Replace when clothes take too long to dry, the dryer shuts off prematurely, or when you notice inadequate heat production.
Screw secures appliance panels and access covers. Replace missing, stripped, or corroded screws to restore tight fit and eliminate rattles or gaps.
