This mounting clip secures a thermostat, temperature sensor, or capillary bulb in the correct position so it can sense temperature accurately and control the appliance. Replacing a damaged or missing clip helps prevent loose components and erratic readings. What it does:

• Holds the thermostat or sensor firmly against its mounting surface for proper thermal contact
• Helps maintain stable, accurate temperature regulation
• Replaces a bent, broken, or missing clip that won't hold securely
• Common symptoms include a dangling sensor/bulb, rattling, or inconsistent temperature response

• Disconnect power (and gas, if applicable) and allow the appliance to cool completely before service
