Steering pinion gear connects the steering column to the front axle turning mechanism on riding mowers. Replace if worn, stripped, or damaged.
This is a flanged lock nut. It’s designed to apply tension, typically on a joint that needs to have a certain amount of flex. As such, it’s mostly used on snowblower chutes and lawnmower handles. They can remain in place, but with a forgiving connection that can take a beating. The nut size is 3/8, with a thread size of 16. A lock nut will generally last for many years. However, the silicone ring inside will wear down if it’s frequently tightened and loosened. It needs to be replaced when it will no longer reliably remain in place. Generally, this begins as a symptom of slight slippage and worsens as time goes on. Thankfully, whether it’s being used on a snowblower or a lawnmower, this nut is generally straightforward to access. Simply unscrew the old nut, then screw the new nut on until it’s nice and tight. Our flanged lock nuts are genuine OEM MTD nuts, and they are sold individually.

Hex screw for lawn mowers, tractors, and snow blowers. Replaces worn, corroded, or missing screws on engines and housings. Identical fit for secure assembly.
This bearing flange is used on a wide variety of lawnmowers and lawn tractors. Unlike other bearings, the flange bearing is used to ensure the axle assembly stays securely attached to the pivot axle. The purpose of the flange bearing is to make sure the axle is able to move freely and in an effortless manner. The bearing undergoes a large amount of friction and stress while in use, so it can start to wear down.If the lawnmower is showing signs of wear at the flange bearing, it should be replaced. It's a good idea to regularly inspect the part to be sure it is in good shape. To replace the flange bearing, remove the bolt from the steering shaft and remove the old bearing. Grease the new bearing and the shaft before reinstalling the part. Reassemble and tighten all parts. This is a genuine OEM replacement part that is directly sourced from the manufacturer. It is sold as an individual component. The flange bearing is made to be compatible with lawnmowers created by MasterCut, Yard-Man, Bolens, Huskee, MTD, Yard Machines, Murray, Troy-Bilt, Cub Cadet, and Craftsman.
The cable seen here is an authentic replacement that is sourced from the manufacturer. This control cable is used for lawn mowers. It will pivot to pull the belt idler pulley, which will fasten the belt and spin the mower's cutting blades. When the cable is not working properly, it could mean that the blades will not spin properly and not provide the mower with the cutting capability that it should have. The cable that comes with the mower tends to be durable, but this does not mean that it will not need to be replaced at some point. Many things could happen to the cable that would require a replacement. The spring might start to wear out, for example. The cable could become frayed or corroded, as well. Owners should always make sure they are wearing gloves when replacing this part. They will need a screwdriver and pliers to complete the repair. The cable is a genuine OEM replacement part that is sold individually. This cable will work with more than 130 models of mowers. Brands with compatible models include Craftsman, Troy-Bilt, Murray, Yard Machines, MTD, Huskee, Bolens, Yard-Man, and MasterCut.

There are multiple uses for the 5/16-18 Hex Screw. It is often used with small gasoline-powered yard equipment such as lawn and garden machines. While hex screws such as these may be used in edgers and snowblowers, the most frequent use this screw is in yard tractors. This variety of screw is commonly used in attaching the various appendages of gas-powered equipment to a central operating platform. In particular, these hex screws are used to secure the engine block of power tools to the frame or housing of the equipment. Once in place, these fasteners have an almost unbreakable strength to them. This is so much so the case that often, in order to detach the engine manifold and repair the inner workings of an engine, the bolts must be chiseled or cut loose. In such cases, it is necessary for the bolts to be replaced during reassembly. Manufacturers insist that genuine OEM replacement parts be used in the rebuilding process. These replacement parts were manufactured to the same exacting specifications used to make the original screws. These OEM screws are compatible with equipment made and sold by Yard-Man, Cub Cadet, Troy-Bilt, Husky, MTD, Bolens, and Yard Machines.
