Description

The Drive Belt is an OEM part for Bosch washing machines. This belt connects the motor to the drum, enabling the drum to spin during the wash and spin cycles. This belt measures  49.4 inches and replaces a broken or damaged original belt. With 5 ribs and 4 grooves, the high-quality belt transfers drive power to rotate the drum.

Causes of a bad drive belt include normal wear and tear over time, overloading the washer, or a misalignment of the belt and pulleys. These issues can reduce the efficiency of the washing machine and cause it to malfunction.

Symptoms of a bad drive belt include:

  • The drum not spinning or agitating
  • Unusual noises during operation
  • Burning smell from the washer
  • Washer stopping mid-cycle

This OEM Bosch part is also compatible with Thermador, Gaggenau, and some Kenmore models.
