Bosch 00701333 Boot Gasket OEM Part

Well............lets say that repair man wanted 300.00....................so I turned to appliance parts pro.. ..................researched the part............(after my daughter order a part that was said to be the part and was not from some other place....)..ordered the part and recd it in not even two days...............was correct ......and son in law replace it...not that it was not intricate but the video helped tremendously..lets say $300.00 tremendously.....nice to know there is somewhere you can turn to for help and save............. thank you............

Took gasket off to reach door lock. Took door lock off and plugged in the new one. Replaced gasket with a new one while we had it off.

Parts arrived super fast as has been past experiences with appliance parts pros. Removed the door seal and had access to door latch solenoid which required a torx driver set to remove and a couple of electrical connections. Door seal was difficult to install especially the retaining springs which required an extra set hands to hold it while I worked the retention spring clamps into place. Took about an hour start to finish.

This was the first problem with our Bosch 500 series front loader in 11 years! Boot gasket and clamps arrived quickly and were the correct parts. Removed washer top and control panel OK but bottom front access panel was just a plastic snap on affair and I broke off one of the tabs when pulling off. Why can't they just use a couple of screws instead? Once the access panel was off the door came right off and the old boot gasket (lots of yucky stuff on the inside) came out. New boot gasket fit nicely on the drum and the inner spring clamp went on easily. The outer spring clamp for the door was a real pain, finally needed another pair of hands to assist and lots of arm strength to pull spring open enough to seat it properly. Washer is like new, runs great! Worth the effort. Just need a star drive screwdriver.

Replaced the worn Door Boot with a new one from you.
