Bosch 00070779 Oven Light Bulb (220V, 15W, High-Temperature) OEM Part

The thing that no one on the web will tell you, is how to get to the bosch dryer light. You CANNOT remove the plastic dome on the inside, you MUST get to the bulb from the front behind the top switch panel. So, how on gods green earth do you remove the top-front panel (where the controls and buttons are)?? To do this, you have to remove the dryer top (tabs on the sides w/ screws), then using a screwdriver push down and pull out all of the plastic tabs along the top of the front panel. After you do this, you can pull the top of the front panel back and there will be some long white plastic poles that are stuck into the bottom. If you stick the screwdriver down from the top and pry the bottom out, it will finally come out. Finally you have access to a small cover and then a cylindrical holder with two wires that powers the bulb.

Very tricky to get lens off light to change bulb. Used a putty knife to pry up one edge then got a screwdriver in to get it all the way off. To replace condenser drawer interlock I removed door and screws from left-hand hinge locations, then unscrewed four screws at bottom to pull out bottom of front panel. There is a galv. Metal piece that goes across the bottom and hinges on the catch mount - remember how that goes in for reassembly. Remove old catch and position new catch with arm to left then rotate ccw to get arm down, then insert catch into mount, reposition metal bar, and reassemble everything.

Removed the rails and cover plate for the oven racks. Popped out the glass cover. Unscrewed the burned out bulb. Screwed in the new bulb. Checked that it worked. Replaced the glass, plate, and rails.

Replaced thermal fuse that was open (no continuity
