Tried the easiest fix by cleaning the pump filter drain area, which had some change in there, but that didn't work. So bought the carbon brushes for my husband to replace. This was supposed to be the problem 95% of the time and pretty inexpensive Took two hours of irritation and a little cursing, but together we managed the job after watching a YouTube video. Removing the motor wasn't hard but took some patience. Most of the time was spent on getting access and then putting everything back in place. Read More... The motor brush are wear parts that provide magnetic field to thelp the motor spin and the washer to spin. The first time I replaced them I watched a YouTube video. You just have to remove the back panel, unclip three wire plugs, and remove two bolts to remove the motor. The wire brush replacement is very simple. Read More...
