Leroy D Seattle , WA February 13, 2023 Digital display panel no longer illuminated. The digital display/control touch screen stopped lighting up. I discovered it still worked (very faint beeps when pressing buttons, but literally flying in the dark (screen). This was the second screen that went black in a little over two years time. Did a google search and placed the replacement order with AppliancePartsPros.com. It arrived a few days later. It took me longer to get the tools together than to swap out the display panel. An easy Google search will get you an easy todo video clip. Four screws to access the back of the dials and display face, and four screws to remove the plate holding the display panel. Pull off the electrical connector to the display panel. Bend four tabs ever so slightly and remove the bad unit and put in the new one. Put it all back together. One comment on the internet recommended putting a bead of silicon along the seam at the front of the stove top to keep liquids from reaching (and damaging) the display panel. Tools used - a multibit screwdriver with a torx bit and a phillips, a pair of pliars (needle nosed or regular), and a tube of clear silicone sealant. John R Gold Hill , NC November 07, 2022 Appliance: Bosch Range HDI8054U/06 Erratic display board behavior with oven door open. Replaced the display board after it had repeated erratic behavior when oven door was open (especially at temps above 400F, but slowly trending downward). This cured the problem completely. The display board is located directly above the oven door and gets a blast of heat when the door is opened. Saw code E011 displayed among several others before the repair. The new board also brightened up the numeric display considerably. It looks like new again. My guess is that the board's power supply had deteriorated due to repeated heat stress causing the vacuum fluorescent display (the blue-green numerals) to characteristically appear weak. This probably indicates the display board itself was hanging on the bottom edge of its operating voltage range and a blast of heat was all it took to send it over the brink. The oven had been in use for 6 years (since 2016). I am extremely pleased with the repair. The only tool I needed was a T20 Torx screwdriver to remove the four-panel screws and a set of hefty neddle nose pliers to bend and straighten the board retaining tabs.
