Robert K Durham , NC April 16, 2015 Appliance: Model THERMADOR SMW272ZP Oven heating element burned out First, removed old element and tested continuity to confirm the problem. Second, searched on-line for replacement by model number. AppliancePartsPros.com had what appeared to be what I needed at the lowest price, but the oven model number was not an exact match (subset of Thermador SMW272). Third, watched repair video and then called AppliancePartsPros. Talked with Kevin who was exceedingly helpful. Although he could not verify the specific subset of the oven model number I was looking for, he gave me enough confidence to proceed and guaranteed the return. Forth, received heating element the next day (the Friday before Easter), as promised, and installed the part. It worked perfectly. Fifth, I reported my success to Kevin and thanked him for his excellent help. Sixth, my wife was able to cook a great Easter dinner for our children and grandchildren! David R Miami , FL May 24, 2014 Appliance: Model THERMIDOR SMW272YS Bake element worn out Self fix. Appliance Pros one of the few companies that stock part needed. The one authorized repair firm for South Florida that I was referred to by both Thermador's Customer Service 800 number and by two of Thermador's product distributors in the area doesn't even stock any Thermador parts. Not just considerably less costly, but also easier and much quicker for me to order from Appliance Pros and do myself. I requested only standard, low cost shipping when I placed order well after their deadline for guaranteed same day shipping. The part was delivered to my doorstep the next afternoon! Exactly what I ordered. No hassle. Quick! Read More... Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 15-30 minutes Tools: Screwdrivers
