Bosch 00609802 Dishwasher Door Handle Holder OEM Part

The Panel-Facia part did the trick (although you should note that the part called a "holder" is already installed, and doesn't need to be ordered separately). The installation was a bit more involved than it appeared to be at first glance, as many parts of the door needed to be disassembled. I recommend reviewing a YouTube video on door disassembly before you get started (and make sure you turn off the circuit breaker!). Installation was successful and solved the problem.

Removed outer door panel and facia for top control panel. Used Appliance Parts Pros on line diagram (accurate by model #) to identify needed parts, and ordered. All parts in stock. Facia panel cover took additional 2 days in transit due to stocking location on East Coast; would have been nice to been advised that it would be 2 separate parcels-not a big deal, however. Reassembly was quick and easy, D/W works perfectly. I did use some high-strength tape to reinforce areas of new panel that had broken on old one, in an attempt at preventive maintenance.

Removed the door panel, removed the broken facia panel, transferred the buttons from the old panel to the new panel, installed the new panel, replaced the door panel, job done. The shipment arrived in 1 day after placing the order.
