Robert D Fairfield , OH August 09, 2019 Bosch dishwasher vinyl coated dish racks had split vinyl and showed small rust spots Bought 2 new sets of tines, called "inserts" and replaced the old with new ones. It took me about 10 minutes from start to finish. I removed the entire middle rack so I could work from the bottom of it. I removed the snaps, removed the insert, replaced the snaps. super easy. John W Vista , CA July 15, 2018 Lost tine row clips so tine row of dishwasher would fall down Parts were easy to find and order on line. They arrived promptly. They would be easy to install if you knew how. Luckily, the great video on your website show how to do it, so it was easy. Thanks. Lisa L Palo Alto , CA February 05, 2021 Appliance: Bosch Dishwasher SHE68T52UC/01 Tine insert on the middle rack had rusted through and one of the tines detached itself I ordered a new tine row and just to be safe I ordered the two plastic clips (tine row holders) that were holding the tine row in place. I have a lot of experience with breaking little plastic clips. When the parts came, I watched the video of replacing the tine row. I used the flat-bladed screwdriver to pry off first the front clip, then the clip in the middle. Neither broke! With the clips off, it was trivial to remove the old tine row and insert the new tine row. The repair video was again helpful in showing me how to reattach the clips and, voila, the repair was done. Total time including watching the video, about 7 minutes. Very good experience! Read More... Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: Less than 15 minutes Tools: Screwdrivers
Thomas S Albuquerque , NM April 01, 2025 Appliance: Bosch Dishwasher SHPM98W75N/10 The bottom basket was difficult to pull out when loaded and the collapsible tine row in the top basket had lost one tine and was rusting where it broke off I replaced all of the roller wheels on the basket. The were very easy to snap off and to snap on the new ones. I placed the basket upside down on the counter to work on it. The basket rolls very easily now. For the tine row, I left the basket in place in the dishwasher, and removed the tine row. It took about five minutes to figure out how to remove the two tine row holders and remove the tine row. It looks simple, but you have to pay attention to how the holders come out. It took just as long to install the tine row and the two holders. The front holder was the most difficult. Since I was only replacing one tine row, I had the second one, which is identical, to use as a model for reinstallation. It is a good thing that I was not replacing both rows. If I had removed both of them at the same time, I would probably have had more difficulty figuring out how the holders went in. Read More... Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 15-30 minutes
