Description

This spark igniter is the burner electrode that creates the high-voltage spark to light the gas. Replacing a worn igniter restores quick, reliable ignition and helps eliminate repeated clicking or having to light the burner manually.

• Generates a spark at the burner to ignite gas during lighting
• Typical symptoms: burner won't light, no visible spark at that burner, intermittent or delayed ignition, or needing a match to light
• Replaces a cracked, fouled, or heat-damaged electrode that no longer sparks reliably
• Provides the ignition spark only; gas flow is managed by the valve

• Disconnect power and shut off gas before servicing
• Remove grates/caps and access the burner; note wire routing and mounting
• Transfer mounting hardware from the old igniter; handle the ceramic insulator gently and keep the tip clean
• Reassemble, restore power/gas, and verify proper spark and burner ignition
