Description

This O-ring seals the NTC (negative temperature coefficient) temperature sensor where it inserts into the appliance. It restores a watertight seal at the sensor port to help prevent leaks and maintain reliable temperature-sensing performance.

• Provides a leak-tight seal between the NTC temperature sensor and its housing/tub/sump
• Helps prevent water seepage and moisture intrusion around the sensor opening
• Common symptoms of a failed seal: drips near the base, moisture in the leak tray, flattened/cracked ring, or a sensor that feels loose
• Good practice to replace when the NTC sensor is removed for service

• Disconnect power and shut off water supply before servicing
• Access the NTC sensor, remove the old O-ring, and clean mating surfaces
