This replacement circulation pump motor restores water movement inside the dishwasher so wash performance and draining return to normal. It directly drives the pump impeller to move water during wash and rinse cycles. What it does:

  • Spins the pump impeller to circulate and move wash water for effective cleaning
  • Stops circulation when failed, which can cause poor cleaning or incomplete cycles
  • May produce unusual grinding or whining noises when worn
  • Can trigger circulation or pump-related error codes on some models
What's included: One motor Install notes:
  • Always disconnect power before beginning service
  • Access may require removing the lower access panel and/or pump housing; keep track of fasteners and seals
  • Reuse existing mounting hardware and gaskets unless damaged; replace seals if leaking

Went online, read the repair forums and the information Appliance Parts Pro provided and the repair was actually quite simple. Interesting is how Thermador bottom panel is not a tilt down as other manufacturers but rather has an ingenious cutout (that you actually make using a standard pair of side cutters) to gain access to the motor. Saved $120 service call + min 1 hour labor and of course the motor part fee they charge. Read more
