  Went online, read the repair forums and the information Appliance Parts Pro provided and the repair was actually quite simple. Interesting is how Thermador bottom panel is not a tilt down as other manufacturers but rather has an ingenious cutout (that you actually make using a standard pair of side cutters) to gain access to the motor.
