Description

The Door Pulley Rope is an OEM part for Bosch dishwashers. It works with the door latch mechanism, allowing smooth opening and closing of the dishwasher door. 

Causes of a bad door pulley rope can include fraying or breakage due to repeated use over time. Exposure to heat and chemicals may also damage synthetic fibers prematurely. 

Symptoms of a bad dishwasher door pulley rope include:

  • Difficulty latching or sealing the dishwasher door 
  • Sliding or squeaking noises coming from the door 
  • The door not sitting flush or properly aligned
  • The door is unable to stay fully open for loading/unloading
