Description

This replacement OEM part is a door seal for refrigerators. The door seal, sometimes called the door gasket, is the rubber piece that fits around the interior door of the refrigerator, creating a seal that prevents warm air from entering the refrigerator. If the seal becomes cracked or is no longer able to tightly secure the door, it might be time to replace it. Luckily, replacing the seal is a very easy fix.To replace the seal, begin by opening the refrigerator door. Locate the part of the seal that is least secure, and begin to pull it out from its groove. Pull firmly from one corner to the other until the entire seal has been removed. After removal, proceed to place the new seal into its proper position by pushing it down into the groove of the refrigerator door that attaches it. Start from one corner until the seal completely covers the perimeter of the door.
