Rodney K Honolulu , HI October 02, 2014 Dishwasher would not clean dishes soap compartment would open but soap still in compartment The indications made me think the dishwasher was not shooting water. I checked the water valve with a voltmeter and it was getting power to open. I disconnected the line to make sure the water line was not plugged. Then I bypassed the door switch and ran the dishwasher with the door open and did not see the water filling which pointed to the inlet valve. I ordered the valve which came quickly. Replaced the valve and now the dishes are clean!
