Briggs & Stratton Snow Removal Equipment Engine

Briggs & Stratton Breather Assembly
Genuine Midwest Engine part
By: Midwest Engine
Part Number: 590395

This is a breather assembly that is made for use on many types of lawn and garden equipment. The breather is an important component that helps vent extra air from the crankcase of the engine. If the engine on the equipment is no longer running well, it could be caused by a malfunctioning or broken breather assembly. If this is the case, the part will need to be replaced.Several tools are needed to replace the breather assembly. These include a 7/16th-inch socket, a 3/8th-inch nut drive or socket, a Phillips head screwdriver, a 5/16th-inch nut drive or socket, a 3/8th-inch nut driver or socket, and a pair of pliers. The muffler will need to be removed to gain access to the breather assembly. It can be inspected for damage before being removed. A new part can be installed to get the engine running at its best. This breather assembly is a genuine OEM replacement part that is sourced directly from the manufacturer. It's sold as an individual component. This assembly is made for use with lawnmowers, chipper shredders, snowblowers, leaf blowers, generators, and pressure washers made by Briggs & Stratton, Cub Cadet, Toro, Craftsman, Lawn-Boy, and Simplicity.

Briggs & Stratton Lawn Tractor Push Rod
Genuine Midwest Engine part
By: Midwest Engine
Part Number: 692011

This authentic OEM replacement push rod connects to the camshaft on small or medium sized gas-powered lawn tractor engines, and as the camshaft turns, the push rod transfers that motion into the valves. Without a functioning push rod, the valves will not open and the engine will not work. Push rods also act as transferring units that bring oil through the valves and into the camshaft. If these parts start to stick due to poor lubrication, push rods can bend and will no longer work properly. It is also possible, though rare, for a push rod to bend due to general metal fatigue over time. To identify a bent push rod, listen for a ticking sound in the engine and look out for any slipping gears. Accessing the push rods will mean taking apart the camshaft and valves and may require the user's manual. This replacement part is sourced from its original manufacturer and is compatible with Craftsman and Briggs & Stratton lawn tractors. It ships individually.
