Description
This is a breather assembly that is made for use on many types of lawn and garden equipment. The breather is an important component that helps vent extra air from the crankcase of the engine. If the engine on the equipment is no longer running well, it could be caused by a malfunctioning or broken breather assembly. If this is the case, the part will need to be replaced.Several tools are needed to replace the breather assembly. These include a 7/16th-inch socket, a 3/8th-inch nut drive or socket, a Phillips head screwdriver, a 5/16th-inch nut drive or socket, a 3/8th-inch nut driver or socket, and a pair of pliers. The muffler will need to be removed to gain access to the breather assembly. It can be inspected for damage before being removed.
