This hinge pocket is the replacement door hinge support that secures the hinge assembly and helps keep the appliance door aligned for smooth opening and closing. It restores proper hinge seating and reduces door sag or misalignment. What it does:

• Houses and supports the door hinge assembly so the door pivots correctly
• Maintains correct hinge alignment to prevent binding or uneven gaps
• Transfers door weight to the cabinet frame to reduce wear on the hinge pin
