This part is a mandrel assembly that is used on lawn tractors. The mandrel assembly is often referred to as a spindle assembly. The mandrel assembly attaches to the lawn tractor mowing deck and is what spins the blade.A new mandrel assembly may be needed if the bearings that drive the blades have gone bad.
