These quality tiller tines are used on a variety of yard tillers. Tiller tines are blades attached to the tiller that turn soil and prep it for cultivating a garden. As the tiller tines are used, they can become worn down, broken, or damaged through use or impact with rocks and other debris. These are C-shaped tines that can cut through dense soil.If the tiller tines are bent, dull, or damaged, they will need to be replaced, otherwise they might till the soil unevenly and may not reach the depth required. To replace the tines, remove the spark plug wire before taking off the tine shield end cover. Taking out the tines requires removing the cotter pin from the clevis pin so the clevis pin can be pulled out. Next, the tines can be pulled directly off of the shaft. The shave plate is a common snowblower part that attaches to the back of the blower housing and directs snow into the auger and blade assembly so it can be cleared.
