This is a stainless steel encoder control knob that mounts on the front panel of the dryer and is used to select cycle settings. The knob incorporates an encoder mechanism that communicates your selection to the electronic control board. Replace this knob if it is cracked, loose, or no longer clicks into position properly, or if the dryer does not respond when you turn it.
This part is discontinued by the manufacturer and is no longer available for purchase.
