• Sends command signals to the appliance control board so functions (cycle selection, timers, temperature) register
• Common symptoms it can fix: unresponsive or sticky buttons, blank or dim display, or controls that do not accept input
• Works as the visible user interface; does not include internal control board

• Always disconnect power to the appliance before starting work to avoid shock or injury
• Replacement typically requires removing the console or front bezel and unplugging a wiring harness; handle the ribbon/wire connections carefully
• Retain all mounting hardware and take note of screw locations during disassembly

The Rocker Switch is an OEM part for Frigidaire ranges and ovens. It is responsible for turning the interior oven light on and off. The light switch allows visibility of the oven cavity for viewing food during the cooking process.

Causes can include normal wear and tear over time, exposure to heat inside the oven cavity, or accidental damage.

Symptoms of a bad oven light rocker switch include:

• The oven light failing to illuminate when the door is opened
• The light remaining on even when the door is closed
• An inconsistent or flickering oven light
• The switch itself becoming loose, cracked, or non-responsive

This OEM Frigidaire part is also compatible with Electrolux, Gibson, Kelvinator and some Kenmore models.
